Ready, Set, Go! Seminar to prep applicants for Flex Films

Kentucky Career Center – Lincoln Trail, in partnership with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Workforce Solutions and Flex Films, is offering a comprehensive employment seminar call Ready, Set, Go! The seminar is from 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Nov. 3-7 and will introduce job seekers to the opportunities at Flex Films.

Flex Films, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality packaging films, is looking for the right applicants to fill openings for production associates at its Elizabethtown plant. We’ve tailored the seminar to help applicants get a better idea of what Flex Films is all about and to sharpen the skills they need to succeed with this company.

Participants who complete the weeklong seminar are guaranteed an interview with Flex Films. And we’ve packed the seminar schedule with all the job seeker skills you need to be ready for that interview.

Class topics include effective communication, personal productivity, dressing for success, resume writing, interviewing skills, cultural diversity and more.

In addition, you’ll get to prepare for and test for the National Career Readiness Certificate. Plus, career counselors will be on hand to help you develop a personal career and/or education plan, a tool to help you start working toward your dream career.

You will also tour Flex Films, getting an up-close look at the work environment and an opportunity to find out if this is the right company for you.

Job interviews will be held on the last day of the seminar.
