People interested in entrepreneurship tend to have independent spirits and as they consider how to turn their ideas into businesses, they sometimes feel they need to do it all on their own.
But, actually, there’s an entire community of people who are ready to support their entrepreneurial endeavors, from the business plan and market research to financing and operational matters.
A new event, 100 Ideas for N.O.W., is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Brown-Pusey House in Elizabethtown. At the heart of the event is an opportunity to network and find out more about the support available.
100 Ideas For N.O.W. partners include Kentucky Career Center – Lincoln Trail, Kentucky Innovation Network, University of Kentucky Small Business Development Council, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and Coworking of Elizabethtown (C.O.E.).
Each will be represented at the event and ready to talk about how they can help you plan for your new business.
Plus, we’ve planned an interactive brain storming session, tours of downtown businesses and the launch of the 100 Ideas for N.O.W. Pitch Contest.
We hope you’ll check out the event, learn about our community’s resources and meet some fellow aspiring entrepreneurs.
