Manufacturing Day was held in the Marion County High School gym last week for introduce sophomores, juniors and seniors.

The event was about educating the youth on the various career options available in manufacturing and in the local community.

Eleven employers participated: Alutrim, American Wood Fibers, Central Kentucky Tool, Fuel Total Systems, Hendrickson, KY Cooperage, Joy Global, Montebello, RL Schreiber, TGKY, and Wilbert. The YES AGREEMENT and KY FAME also had a booth set up.

As a prelude to Manufacturing Day all students watched videos about our local industries.
