Lincoln Trail Workforce Development Board
The local Central Kentucky Planning Region’s Workforce Investment Opportunity Act Plan is now available for public review and comment. There are two documents for this review. One is a follow-up to the Dept. of Workforce Investment requesting additional clarification on the local WIOA plan. The second document has the requested clarification highlighted in red.
The Lincoln Trail Workforce Development Area consists of the following Kentucky counties: Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Marion, Nelson and Washington. The purpose of the Local WIOA plan is to serve as a four-year action plan and strategy to develop, align and integrate service delivery strategies and to support the Commonwealth’s vision as well as strategic and operational goals for economic development, education and workforce efforts to build a skilled workforce.
This plan, upon approval, shall run from July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2025.
