Communicare Open Positions

The Communicare Regional Prevention Center has 2 positions available. All resumes can be submitted to Tara Smith at tcsmith@communicare.org and please indicate which position interested in.

KY Moms MATR, Intervention Specialist: (Marion, Washington, and Nelson Counties)- office available in Marion or Hardin County.

  • POSITION SUMMARY: Provides alcohol and drug screening, assessment, referral, prevention education and outreach case management to pregnant/postpartum women.
  • QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science field (i.e., Human Services, Social Work).  MUST be MCO billable.
  • SKILL SETS: Strong verbal and written communication skills; public speaking skills; dependable;  interact effectively with the public and staff; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events; strong sense of commitment; demonstrated organizational skills and conflict resolution skills; strong facilitation skills; proven ability to build relationships, trust and deepen connections with diverse people and groups; ability to follow through on assignments with minimal oversight.

 

Collaboration Specialist: Region-wide Position (8 counties)- office will be in Hardin County

  • POSITION SUMMARY:  Primarily responsible for building collaboration at the community level to support the completion of the Regional Prevention Center work plan and meet goals of the State Opioid Response (SOR) project
  • QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in human services field.  2+ years’ experience working in human services field. Must provide own transportation.
  • SKILL SETS: Strong verbal and written communication skills; public speaking skills; dependable;  interact effectively with the public and staff; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events; strong sense of commitment; demonstrated organizational skills and conflict resolution skills; strong facilitation skills; proven ability to build relationships, trust and deepen connections with diverse people and groups; ability to follow through on assignments with minimal oversight.
