Civil Construction Project Superintendent sought in Springfield

Job Skills / Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage crews to complete job-site tasks on or ahead of schedule.
-Manage projects within budget.
-Effectively schedule upcoming construction tasks to maximize production.
-Keep Owner/Prime Contractor up to date on project progress and needs.

Skills/Attributes:
-Academic/Technical Qualifications
-Knowledge and Experience in Construction
-Heavy highway construction and private development experience necessary
-Ability to understand construction plans (profiles, cross sections, etc.)
-Possess construction process knowledge
-Experience in at least one of the following construction fields: earth, water, sewer, storm
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
-Leadership/Management experience/capabilities
-Ability to manage ones activities with minimal supervision
-Great communication skills
-Self-starter and pleasant go-getter attitude

Jobs typically will be within an hour vicinity from Springfield, KY. There may be occasional jobs for which longer travel for a few weeks at a time will be required. Rame Contracting, a family-run organization, largely performs site grading work and horizontal construction, water/sewer/storm work, drilling and blasting and some highway work.

Incipio Workforce Solutions, of Louisville, is working with Rame Contracting to find the right candidate.

Salary range is $50,000 to $75,000 per year based on experience. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation (one set week in the summer) and employee-only healthcare.
