Area manufacturers looking for talent now

Kentucky Career CenterIt’s Manufacturing Day and across North America the opportunities offered in this critical industry sector are being recognized.

Manufacturing is a significant job creator throughout our region, but especially in the Lebanon and Springfield areas. It is by far the leading industry sector in Marion and Washington counties, accounting for about 40 and 31 percent of all non-farm jobs respectively, according to the Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky.

Many of our local employers are hiring now and many are expecting growth.
