The incumbent is to present for work in a timely manner, groomed professionally, and perform their job function in accordance with all Spring View Hospital standards of performance, policies and procedures. Registered Nurse Bedside, Family Care Unit

The RN is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate needs for patient’s aged young adult through geriatric.

The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; acts in a clinical leadership role; applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma from a School of Nursing, with current licensure in the State of Kentucky.
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred.
  • One to two years clinical experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • ACLS certification recommended.
  • PALS recommended.

Practice Coordinator/Medical Assistant, Spring View Clinic

This incumbent is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations in a physician office/clinic. The incumbent may be involved with financial bookkeeping, scheduling of patients, and billing. The incumbent, under the direction and supervision of the Physician, may assist in direct patient care activities such as venipuncture, taking vital signs, and giving injections. The incumbent demonstrates professional development and clinical competency and manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to the office operations. The incumbent is responsible for researching and resolving denied claims. Follows up with accounts over 60 days and takes necessary action to expedite payment and/or zero account. Performs necessary steps to obtain insurance coverage for self-pay accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Medical Assistant certification preferred; CPR is required and Phlebotomy certification is required in absence of Medical Assistant certification.  A minimum of one year of scheduling, billing, and clinical experience in a physician office or clinic.

Environmental Associate, Housekeeping

Performs a wide range of housekeeping tasks and projects, including the cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and clinical areas. Operation of specified small equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, upholstery shampooers, extractors, and others, is required. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior, appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This could range from neonate through geriatric.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate with others.
  • Housekeeping experience preferred.

Cook/Baker, food services

The incumbent is to present for work in a timely manner, groomed professionally, and perform their job function in accordance with all Spring View Hospital standards, policies and procedures. Each employee is responsible for upholding the Spring View Hospital Values, namely: respect for every individual, delivery of quality service, constant pursuit of excellence and commitment to integrity. Prepare and cook/bakes a variety of food items according to established recipes. Adjusts recipes as appropriate to meet customer’s nutritional and age-specific needs (neonate through geriatric). Completes all assignments to meet established serving times. Follows all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent food borne illness.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; however, must have ability to read, write, and communicate with others. Two years previous large volume cooking experience is preferred.

 

Food Services Associate

The Food Service Worker performs miscellaneous duties to support patient/cafeteria food service. The Food Service Worker is responsible for a majority of the clean up duties in the department. This includes but is not limited to providing cleanup of dishes, silverware, trays etc. while maintaining a clean, safe work environment in the dish room area of the kitchen. Clean up of special functions and assisting in putting away of stock as well as stocking the different areas of the hospital with food are some of the other various duties of this position.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must possess ability to read, write, and communicate with others.
