What is a work-based learning opportunity?

Too often, our students and young adults choose to start careers outside our region. At the same time, our employers are struggling to find qualified talent. The Workforce Crisis Task Force is helping employers and educators make the match earlier through Work-Based Learning Opportunities (WBLOs).

There are several different types of WBLOs, just to name a few: mentoring, job shadowing, internships and pre-apprenticeships. See how work-based learning opportunities are benefiting other employers in our region!
