The Kentucky Career Center - Lincoln Trail (KCC-LT) will be reopening soon for in-person appointments for career and training services.
Both locations will offer one-on-one career and training assistance at no cost which includes:
Additionally, through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), job seekers who meet certain criteria may apply for a grant to cover the cost of attending courses in their desired field.
“While this year has been a challenge for many, our staff hopes to assist people in expanding their skills sets, growing professionally and ultimately securing new employment,” said KCC-LT One Stop Director Carter Dyson. “WIOA funding has already helped several Lincoln Trail residents secure new positions.”
The Elizabethtown, Lebanon and Leitchfield career centers are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To make an appointment for career or training services, job seekers are asked to visit LTcareercenter.org/appointment.
When arriving for an appointment at the Elizabethtown, Lebanon or Leitchfield career center, job seekers are asked to wait in their vehicles until their selected appointment time. Waiting lines outside of the building will not be permitted. Job seekers will also be asked to comply with the following:
The Elizabethtown career center will open by appointment only starting April 15 for in-person unemployment assistance. Elizabethtown is the only KCC-LT location open for unemployment assistance. Kentuckians are asked to schedule appointments for unemployment assistance at kcc.ky.gov. Currently, appointments are available for April 15-30. Beginning April 19, appointments for May 3 will become available, with additional appointment times opening each day thereafter.
